Diesel Generators produce 400/230V Electricity and are often connected to the national electricity grid - Only qualified electricians may safely work on mains voltage electrical equipment.

Service & Maintenance

We are finding an increasing number of organisations including councils, the emergency services, and utility providers as well as care providers, farms, hotels, offices & more asking us to look after their specialist equipment.

Generators are being increasingly recognised as specialist emergency equipment, with specialist maintenance requirements. Handymen or maintenance teams have seldom had the technical training to not just maintain the diesel engines, but to check the entire system, including alternators and control panels/switches.

The two areas of concern with large organisations are that maintenance teams are not technically trained, and may not be able to safely work on equipment that is both mechanical and electrical (connected to the mains electricity network). Additionally failure to spot potential operational failures early could result in the failure to start of the equipment in an emergency situation, resulting in un-acceptable consequences.

Our engineers are all highly trained, experienced, with the necessary electrical skills & qualifications to maintain your emergency generator to the highest standards. Every service includes a 43 point check of the overall condition of the entire generator system, offering piece of mind that your emergency generator, will start in an emergency situation.
