A & M Generators Maintenance
We are finding an increasing number of organisations including councils, the emergency services and utility providers as well as care providers, farms, hotels, offices and more asking us to look after their specialist equipment.
Generators are being increasingly recognised as specialist emergency equipment with specialist maintenance requirements. Handymen or maintenance teams seldom have the technical training to not just maintain the diesel engines, but to check the entire system, including alternators and control panels/switches.
The two areas of concern with large organisations are that maintenance teams are not technically trained and may not be able to safely work on equipment that is both mechanical and electrical (connected to the mains electricity network). Additionally, failure to spot potential operational failures early could result in the failure to start of the equipment in an emergency situation, resulting in unacceptable consequences.
Our engineers are all highly trained and experienced, with the necessary electrical skills and qualifications to maintain your emergency generator to the highest standards. Every service includes a full check of the overall condition of the entire generator system, offering peace of mind that your emergency generator will start when needed.
We provide a range of support services for generating set users.
We have hands-on experience over many years on a wide range of manufacturers’ equipment for both the public and private sector including both current and obsolete equipment still in service.

Diesel Generators produce 400/230V Electricity and are often connected to the national electricity grid – Only competent engineers may safely work on generators.
