24 Hour Power Systems
A surprising number of homes in the UK aren't
connected to the electrical grid. There can be a variety of reasons
why `mains' is not available, but the two principal reasons are
a) prohibitive costs, or b) logistical impossibility, or a combination
of both. However, today, it is possible to have a 24-hour uninterrupted
electricity system without the benefit of `mains' electricity.
This enables off-mains dwellings to support many of the comforts
of modern appliances and systems that were previously impractical,
e.g:
Electric Refrigerators and Freezers
Pressure Jet Domestic
Central Heating Boilers and c/h pumps.
Water purification UV's
Pumped water systems
Security lighting and systems
A&M Generators has established a reputation for providing
effective solutions for domestic properties without utility
power. Whilst every home and occupants have different needs
and lifestyles, we aim to tailor each system's primary components
and programme setup to provide the most user-friendly, low-maintenance
solution.
In regular daily use, a well set-up system will support the
load requirements of the home, by the generator being started
and stopped autonomously by the inverter's sophisticated controls.
The system will do this to meet the needs of the load, and to
maintain the system battery pack - all automatically, without
the need for any user intervention.
A system basically comprises a heavy-duty diesel generating
set, sophisticated programmable Inverter/Charger unit and Deep-Cycle
Lead-Acid battery store. A&M Generators can provide a wealth
of experience and assistance to help the customer provide a
suitable plant room environment, installation solution and after-sales
support and free advice to ease the user into living without
utility power.
If you are currently living in an off-mains property on a generator
only, and would like to improve the quality and continuity of
your electricity supply, or have bought a property without power,
please give us a call for an informal discussion about your
needs.
